Introducing Church Road Farmhouse, a truly charming home that was built in 1860 but has benefited from plenty of fabulous updates over the years. This welcoming porch leads you into the living room which is currently set up as a cozy spot to hang out and have movie nights. There is a coat closet here as well for tucking away your winter gear.

Beyond the living room is a very stylish dining room with doors that lead out to the back deck and yard. The dining room is central to the farm style kitchen on one side and, through a pair of French doors, a first-floor bedroom on the other. This bedroom has a great view to the outdoors from a window seat surrounded by attractive built-in cupboards and shelves. A large closet with a stackable washer and dryer is also accessible here. The kitchen is equipped with butcher block countertops, cupboards painted in a creamy warm hue, and the oh-so-appropriate farmhouse sink. There is a full bathroom with a shower off the kitchen. A large mudroom with built-in storage is also accessible and leads out to the driveway.

Upstairs, there is a spacious primary bedroom and another bedroom with an attached smaller room that is ideal as an office space. Both bedrooms have good-sized closets and there is a large full bathroom on this floor as well. Wide plank pine flooring and crisp white walls can be found throughout much of the house.

Outside you have a spacious backyard with both level lawn and woods. A fire pit is set up and ready for some cool weather bonfires with friends. In the warmer weather, you’ll enjoy the back deck with a couple of seating options for gathering. This home is just an hour and 30 minutes from the GWB so it's super easy if you’re back and forth from the city. Nearby outdoor options include the Awosting Reserve and Minnewaska State Park with Sam’s Point and my favorite waterfall hike to VerkeerderKill Falls. The center of Pine Bush with all your basic necessities is just a 10-minute drive, and just a bit further you can easily get to Cragsmoor, Gardiner and Wallkill and more.
